Seit ihrer Einführung im Jahre 1987 ist die ISO 9001 heute die weltweit bekannteste und meist akzeptierte Norm im Bereich Qualitätsmanagement.

Über 1.2 Millionen Unternehmen sind bereits zertifiziert. Experten gehen davon aus, dass sich die Zahl der nach ISO 9001 zertifizierten Unternehmen in den nächsten zwei Jahren verdoppeln wird, da diese die Einhalt des Standards zunehmend auch von ihren Lieferanten und Dienstleistern erwarten.

Sachverständige und Gutachter, die für größere Unternehmen und Banken tätig werden, können daher auf diese Zertifizierung nicht mehr verzichten. Durch die Anwendung der Norm haben Auftraggeber des Sachverständigen die Garantie, dass eine kundenorientierte Arbeitsweise, eine kontinuierliche Verbesserung, eine Steigerung der Effizienz sowie Vorbeugemaßnahmen und Risikominimierung als zentrale Aufgabe der Geschäftsführung erkannt und gelebt werden. Dies fördert eine reibungslose Zusammenarbeit und lässt eine Vielzahl von Problemen erst gar nicht entstehen.

Ein nach ISO 9001:2015 zertifiziertes Sachverständigenbüro arbeitet nach einem Qualitätsstandard, der weltweit anerkannt ist und sich bewährt hat. Auftraggeber können darauf vertrauen, dass es dokumentierte Ziele und Strukturen gibt, Kompetenzen und Verantwortungsbereiche klar definiert und abgegrenzt sind, Arbeitsprozesse strukturiert sind und eine kontinuierliche Weiterbildung der Mitarbeiter stattfindet. Eine unabhängige Zertifizierungsstelle prüft, ob die Vorgaben der Norm vom Sachverständigenbüro eingehalten werden und Veränderungen nachhaltig sind.
